TMP’s O’Grady Promoted to Associate

Bloomfield Hills, Mich., April 19, 2016 – The Board of Directors of TMP Architecture, Inc. recently promoted Danielle O’Grady, IIDA to an Associate of the firm.

O’Grady began her career as an interior designer with TMP in 2011. She graduated Cum Laude from Lawrence Technological University with both Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture degrees.  She passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam in 2013.  She has presented at state-level conferences, most recently for the Michigan Association of School Boards in October 2015: “Today’s Early Education Classroom: Environments for Our Youngest Learners.”  She also presented “21st Century Learning Environments” to the Superintendent Preparation Series Academy (“SUPES”) group in Flint, also in October 2015.  Her contributions to School Planning & Management’s article “The Furniture Effect” were published in November 2014.

In just five years, O’Grady has contributed to over 50 TMP projects for various clients.  She has provided interior design services to municipal libraries, school districts and higher education institutions including Troy School District, Novi Community Schools, Port Huron Schools, Royal Oak School District, Northville Public Schools, Clinton-Macomb Public Library, Saginaw Valley State University, Oakland University, the University of Detroit Mercy and Baker College of Owosso, among others.   Her current project locations outside of Michigan include the states of Florida, New York and Ohio.

O’Grady lives in St. Clair with her husband and two sons.  She recently served as a member of East China School District’s School Closure and District Restructuring Advisory Committee as a volunteer community member.
