The Board of Directors of TMP Architecture, Inc. has promoted Interior Designer Lauren Bush, IIDA, NCIDQ to the position of Associate.
Bush joined TMP in 2021 and has become a key leader within the firm’s Interior Design team. As interior designer, she has applied her expertise to create engaging learning environments for K-12 clients, including significant work on Troy School District’s 2022 Bond Program designing interiors for the new Smith Middle School and major renovations at Boulan and Larson Middle Schools. In 2024, Bush achieved National Council for Interior Design Qualification, where designers are qualified through a combination of education, experience, and examination.
“Lauren has become an invaluable member of our Interior Design team, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, creativity, and dedication to our clients and project teams,” said Director of Interior Design Sarah Watson. “She has played a key role in the success of many of our projects while mentoring others and helping elevate our team. Her well-earned promotion reflects both her outstanding contributions and the positive impact she continues to have on our teams.”
Bush earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Interior Design from Wayne State University. She has also served clients on projects like Saginaw Public Schools’ new Saginaw United High School, Livonia Public Schools’ new Robotics Center and Early Childhood Center, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Northern and Western High Schools, and Elkhart Indiana’s Concord Community Schools 2021 Bond projects. Bush’s university portfolio includes updates to Oakland University’s Aquatic Center.
