TMP Architecture Promotes Two to Associate

Bloomfield Hills, Mich., October 22, 2014 – The Board of Directors of TMP Architecture, Inc. recently promoted Nandita P. Mishra and Kevin J. Myshock, AIA to Associates of the firm.

Mishra, a native of India, began her architectural career with TMP in 1996. She received her Bachelor Degree in Architecture from the Maharashtra State Board, Mumbai, India in 1988 and her Master of Science degree in Interior Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1991. Mishra continued her career at TMP until 2008 when she relocated to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Upon returning to Michigan, she rejoined the firm in 2013. She is a registered architect with the Indian Institute of Architects and received her LEED Accredited Professional designation in 2005 from the United States Green Building Council.

Mishra has a special expertise in project management, design and planning of K-12 educational projects. She has held a leadership role in TMP’s projects with Walled Lake Consolidated Schools; South Redford School District; Saline Area Schools; and Haslett Public Schools, as well as over a dozen additional clients.

Mishra has a solid background as a teacher and lecturer, currently serving as an adjunct faculty member of The Art Institute of Michigan in Troy, where she teaches Elements of Interior Design. In Brazil, Nandita served as a Design Committee Representative for the American School of Sao Paula Graded School from 2010-2011. Previously in 2008, she was a lecturer for the International Academy of Design in Troy for courses in Lighting Design and Theoretical Concepts in Interior Design/Theory of Design.

Kevin Myshock joined TMP in 2010 after 13 years in the industry as an architect with Detroit and Chicago-area firms. He is a registered architect and is active with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), serving as coordinator and instructor for AIA Detroit and AIA Michigan Chapter Architectural Registration Exam preparation activities since 2009. Kevin was also a co-chair for newly licensed architects on the AIA Michigan Chapter Membership Committee. Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Lawrence Technological University in 2000, and Masters of Architecture and Urban Design degrees from the University of Michigan in 2003.

Myshock’s experience prior to TMP was primarily in the design and architectural development of healthcare facility projects in metropolitan Detroit and Chicago. With TMP, he has contributed to many of the firm’s healthcare projects, including projects for the Karmanos Cancer Institute and Detroit Medical Center. Myshock has also served as project architect for recent renovations at Wayne State University, Eastern Michigan University, and Michigan State University.

TMP has offices in Bloomfield Hills and Portage, Michigan, producing a variety of projects for K-12 educational, college / university and municipal clients. The firm’s current projects include bond programs for Novi Community Schools, Plymouth-Canton Public Schools, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, Dearborn Public Schools and Troy School District, as well as projects for the University of Michigan, University of Alabama and Michigan State University.
