MSU School of Packaging Earns Distinction for Outstanding Renovation

Spaces4Learning has named its 2024 Education Design Showcase winners, and TMP is thrilled to announce Michigan State University’s School of Packaging project was recognized with a Project of Distinction Award! The School of Packaging Renovation & Addition at MSU – the largest packaging program and first packaging school in the country – blends aesthetic value with functionality befitting their top standing and continued demand for program growth.

An underused open courtyard was reimagined as the main concourse and focal point for the school. Running the full depth of the building, the concourse is flooded with daylight from a new translucent skylight and has the flexibility to function as a space to gather, study, collaborate, and present. The new school has become a campus destination accommodating a full variety of student and faculty activities with its inviting spaces, welcome center, and attention to detail in accessibility and sustainability.

TMP is honored to have been part of this significant project for MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the School of Packaging.
