Copeland, O’Neal, Read and Rose Promoted to Principals of Firm

TMP is pleased to announce Kyra Copeland, Danielle O’Neal, Anna Read, and David Rose have been promoted to Principals of the firm!

Kyra Copeland is a 25-year-plus veteran of TMP where she is known for her passion for architecture and keen attention to detail. Kyra’s projects have ranged from accessibility studies to complex college/university renovations, where she has built strong relationships with her clients as a project manager. With an eye on the future of the profession, Kyra has served as a mentor with the National Organization of Minority Architects Detroit Chapter (NOMAD) for over a decade. She enjoys helping students think creatively and gain experience in design practices.

Danielle O’Neal, AIA, NCARB leads TMP’s Specifications Department and takes an active role on several internal and external initiatives. As a Project Architect, Danielle is currently working on the $555M bond program for Troy School District and projects for Michigan State University, among others. Danielle demonstrates her enthusiasm for her profession as an active member of AIA Michigan and was recently named to their Board of Directors for a two-year term. Her passionate involvement directly supports the high-quality service and great experience that we strive to provide our clients, and we applaud Danielle’s highly engaged commitment.

Anna Read has been with TMP since 2014 and demonstrates a strong commitment to client service. She has been involved with major bond programs for Haslett Public Schools, Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Southgate Community Schools, and Birmingham Public Schools. She also manages projects for higher education, such as master planning efforts and renovation work for the University of Detroit Mercy. She is a Detroit Regional USGBC Member and brings a passion for sustainable architecture to her projects. With her accomplishments, decade of experience in a variety of project roles, and bright personality, Anna is greatly valued by clients.

David Rose, AIA, LEED AP rejoined TMP in 2021, bringing decades of knowledge in all phases of project development. This experience, together with his commitment to sustainable architecture and making a positive impact on society, led to Dave also recently being named Director of Design for the firm. Dave continues to elevate the architectural profession and his personal growth through affiliation with the American Institute of Architects, Society of College and University Planning, and American Society of Media Photographers. Currently, Dave is involved with projects for the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Huron Valley Schools, Wayne-Westland Community Schools, and Saginaw United High School.
