Sarah Watson Promoted to Director

The TMP Board of Directors proudly announces the promotion of Sarah Watson, NCIDQ, Principal, to Director. Watson joined TMP in 2019. As Interior Design Group Leader, Watson has streamlined procedures and reorganized functions to increase project efficiency, providing value for TMP’s educational clients. With her organization, the team combines function with creativity, telling stories through design.

“Sarah’s appointment to Director of Interiors is validation of her demonstrated leadership skills at TMP,” says Chief Design Officer David Larson, AIA, “She approaches challenges with contagious enthusiasm and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among team members and our clients.”

As Director, Watson will continue leading the Interior Design Group, developing innovative strategies to align space with learning.

 

“I believe in building genuine partnerships with our clients — listening closely, understanding their goals, and designing environments that truly align with teaching and learning,” says Watson, “I am passionate about providing environments that serve students in the best way possible.”

Watson received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University and has achieved National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification. Prior to joining TMP, she worked on award-winning multicultural and minority lounges at the University of Michigan. Her recent portfolio includes work with Dexter Community Schools, Ingham Intermediate School District and award-winning projects for Livonia Public and Walled Lake Community Schools.

Watson resides in Ypsilanti with her husband, Jae, and daughter, Brooklyn.
