An inviting, modern and expandable library with distinctive exterior and interior spaces was TMP’s primary goal for this new library.  The warm, spacious and inviting areas, with minimum interior divisions, offer a calming environment for patrons.  The open design lends itself to the use of abundant light, innovative acoustical treatment, and attractive and flexible furniture arrangements.  Yet, the library’s interior also offers a traditional atmosphere similar to the classic Carnegie libraries of the 1900s.  Other features include a community meeting room that holds up to 127 people, a children’s activity room, and a 500-seat outdoor performance pavilion, connected to the library by a pathway.
