The stage of this auditorium has hosted everyone from aspiring students to some of the world’s finest musicians. It features 725 seats in an end stage configuration, with enhanced wing space, orchestra pit and orchestra shell. Supporting the stage is a new scene shop, dressing rooms and theatre storage space. In addition, a multi-purpose rehearsal space for dance, theatre and orchestra, as well as a choral rehearsal room is included. Equipped with an elaborate sound and communication system, the new auditorium introduces a dynamic setting for plays and concerts. The Detroit Chamber Music Society is proud to call the Center its home.
