Crisler Center Renovation & Expansion

Wolverine players and fans now have a new LEED Gold certified home court. This two-phased project included extensive renovations and additions to Crisler Center, a facility that has served the University of Michigan’s men’s and women’s basketball programs for over 50 years. Additions to the arena total approximately 63,000 SF including new entrances, club seating, new ticketing areas and retail space. Phase I of the project included new seating, HVAC, finishes and replacement of the arena’s lighting. Phase II focused on fan amenities such as a concourse expansion, relocation of restrooms, concessions and the addition of an outdoor plaza. New enclosed club seating provides an intimate space for donors and recruits. Crisler’s new “front door” greets visitors with an enclosed escalator and stairway, taking fans to the concourse level.
